Makenzie Jorgensen

Makenzie’s dad inspires her to do, and be, her best. Through a friend with Down syndrome, she has learned the meaning of unconditional love. She is indebted to her friend because the time they have spent together helped Makenzie realize that she wants to make a difference in the lives of those with special needs and help them to reach their full potential, thus her major in special education.

Dawn Jorgensen, Makenzie’s mother, is an office operations manager for Lifetouch National School Studios, Sandy, Utah.
